Styling and Hosting Tips:

Create at least one “instagrammable” space; A balloon garland is the perfect item for this… You could place it at the entrance of the party or above the food table or pumpkin painting space. Just add a couple of clusters of pumpkins on the ground under the garland to complete the look.

Food Table – Start with a white, grey or orange tablecloth or runner - This could be solid, or printed (keeping the print within the theme aesthetic). Add the painted pumpkins as a centerpiece, and string the pom pom garland across the table somewhat randomly, around the platters and pumpkins. Set up the cute plates and napkins, next to a jar with the utensils and you’re set. Think about setting up the drinks, cups & a snack in another space, to encourage movement and mingling.

If you plan to serve coffee, a self-serve station would be great! Set out a large thermos of coffee & insulated cups, along with a couple of creamer options (and mini bottles of Bailey’s?!) and sweetener packets. Don't forget to offer bottles of water and at least 1 additional option such as juice or lemonade. 

Recipe Ideas:

Quiche Muffins (makes 24 small quiche)
12 Eggs
1 cup of milk
Salt and pepper
2 store bought pie crusts
8oz of cooked crumbled sausage or bacon
8oz of shredded cheese (I like to use cheddar, swiss or gruyere)
Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, ½ tsp of salt and ¼ tsp pepper. Coat 2 muffin tins with nonstick spray. 
Unroll pie crusts and cut 3" circles using a biscuit cutter, you should be able to cut 12 circles from each pie crust. Press pie crust circles into muffin tins. Place a spoonful of sausage or bacon, and a spoonful of cheese on top of the pie crusts. Add egg mixture to each cup, filling about 3/4 of the way. Bake for 25-30 minutes (until golden brown). Serve warm. 
Pumpkin Yogurt Parfaits 
All you need is noosa pumpkin yogurt, organic canned pumpkin and pumpkin seed/ pumpkin spice granola. Add yogurt to a jelly jars or small cups, filling halfway, followed by a thin layer of pumpkin. Top with granola and serve!

 

Donuts - These are a cute and super affordable way to add another sweet treat to your breakfast assortment. Grab a few crowd pleasing favorites, (glazed, maple & chocolate), as well as some apple cider donuts from Trader Joe’s to give it a nice Autumnal touch! Pile them high on a tiered dessert server, platter or cake plate.
